First I must say that I had an absolute wonderful time over the last 3 days that I was out of town.  For those of you that were not aware, last week I was notified that my name had come up on the wait list for tickets to go see So You Think You Can Dance, live in the studio.  I had no clue it would be this week, nor any intention of going down to LA anytime soon but here I was faced with this decision.  I decided it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and that now is the perfect time to do something like that since life is still rather fluid and I can change anything around.  So I went for the maximum 4 tickets total that I could grab and got to work deciding who I could take.  I first considered my mom because she loves the show but we couldn’t both go because my dad works out of town and my brothers had to be around for other commitments.  I couldn’t just stay either because my name was on the tickets.  So then I considered my dad since he works down there and it would be easy for him to come over to LA from Carlsbad, but he couldn’t get time off.  So I decided that I would take Summer and Madeleine, 2 of my dearest friends and 2 of the 6 ladies in my life (continue reading…)
